For kids, check out our Children’s programmes and Youth programmes.

We would love to invite you to come along to one of our meetings on a Sunday. Our meetings are for Christians and for those who are seeking purpose, or wanting to explore Christianity. We know you will find our meetings to be welcoming and relevant to you.

Jubilee Community Church is a bible-believing church made up of people from all kinds of different backgrounds, races, nations and ages.

What to expect

Our services are all roughly 1.5 hours in length. Our earliest Sunday meeting is at 9.30am at 21 Nelson Road in Observatory. It’s reasonably close to public transport – and if you’re driving, parking attendants will show you where to park. We begin the meeting with a short welcome and then we sing a few songs of worship to God.

As we near the end of this time of worship, kids have the opportunity to experience interactive programs which include fun activities and age-appropriate stories from the Bible. Parents and guardians can safely check their kids in to venues within the building, and collect them at the end. We also have a comfortable room where breastfeeding mums can chill and listen in on the meeting – and just next to it is a crèche for toddlers.

In the main meeting, we have a talk that focuses on explaining truths from the Bible. We believe that God still speaks to us today through his Word! These talks are relevant, compelling, practical, and faithful to what the Bible has to say to us in our context.

At the end of the meeting, there is an opportunity to grab a free cup of tea or coffee and enjoy chatting with friends or meeting new people.

Our meeting in the heart of Cape Town city begins at 10.30am at 33 Kloof Street. It’s close to public transport and if you’re driving, there’s parking on-site and in the surrounding neighbourhood. After the vibrant worship, kids can be checked in to their venues while adults can enjoy listening to a Bible talk in the main meeting. There is also a comfortable space in the building for breastfeeding mums, and space for those with energetic toddlers to play while parents will still be able to hear the talk. There’s plenty of opportunity afterwards to connect in a relaxed setting while enjoying our delicious fair-trade coffee.

At 6.30pm we begin our evening meeting in Observatory. The meeting starts with worship that is vibrant and energetic. There’s no kids programme in the evening, though parents and families are welcome to attend. After the talk from one of our speakers, we hang out together and connect over a free cup of coffee or tea – and we also sometimes sell pizza and hot chocolate!
Watch out for our Sunday evening events where we feature live bands after the meeting.

We’d love you to come along and experience what it is like to worship God in community, hear from his Word, and connect with us. At every meeting, we have a Welcome team who would love to get to know you, and give you an opportunity to connect further with one of our mid-week small groups that meet in suburbs all over Cape Town. We hope to see you soon!
